Another Husky Movie
On February 17th, the Disney movie Eight Below will be released in theaters across the U.S. Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue will be calling theaters in the MD, DC, PA, WV and NY areas to see if we can set up bootsh and provide information on the Siberian Husky breed. We would hate to see a sudden demand for Siberian Huskies as pets due to this film, as happened with the Dalamatian breed after 101 Dalmations was re-released in theaters several years ago. Siberian Huskies are beautiful, intelligent, comical and have a lot of personality, but they are not for everyone.

Wow! I look forward to watch this movie! A shame they do not allow doggies in the theatre, so I will have to wait for the DVD, I'm afraid.

Other blogging dogs!! Yippee!! I am not a husky or anything like that. Just a little brown dog, that is all. I blog with my feline siblings and, well, you know, cats are kind of boring. Please don't tell them I said that!!! It it grrrrreat to find other dogs blogging!!!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a shame when humans don't do the research before getting a new member of the family. Sad, sad, sad, like when humans get us for christmas...busy time of year. My humans did tons of research since they were first time pet owners, and boy, I'm sure glad that they did! I'm so spoiled! ;)

ReplyDeleteI hear you are going to the pet expo on Sat. My mommy says i can't go the stupid foster Hendrix gets to go. He got to go somewhere last weekend too and he came back smelling like other dogs that brat.
By the way I am looking ofr new Ideas for my new comic strip and also looking for som co-stars wink wink. Mommy says she is brinnging her Camera Sat.
Mama has taken me to a neat doggie place called Three Dog Bakery. Mama said every summer they have a film festival for people AND their dogs! Maybe they will show this movie. I love to see it. I am sure my mama will tell me all about it.

ReplyDeleteWhat d'ya mean, "the pros and cons of owning a Siberian Husky?" First of all, you don't own a Husky. You are owned by one. Second, there are no cons. You may not be good enough to deserve to be owned by one, but don't be blaming us.

But my mom said we can't word it that way or most humans will not understand, and they'll get a Husky because we are so friggin' gorgeous, and then when they realize how much brushing and excersize we need, they'll want to give us away. You and I are really lucky - we have really good humans!
husky's are just so cute! i look a bit like oneof those huskies in right below =]. that was such a sweet film dont ya think?
