My mom and dad took me for a nice long walk around the lake in the snow earlier. There is a lot of snow, about 8 inches. It's all melting now, but earlier it was beautiful!
The only thing is that mom and dad kept trying to get me to pose for the camera. I was way too distracted by the snow, the people, the kids and other dogs. Mom tried to get me to catch snowballs, but I was not interested. Click here to see.
Here I am posing like the statue of Balto in Central Park.
Here is the snowy path we took around the lake. You can see the tips of my ears at the bottom of the picture.
Here I am looking at the lake.
Here is a cardinal that my daddy took a picture of.
Here are some geese that are nesting at the lake.
Here I am checking out an interesting smell in the snow.
Well, I'm exhausted, I'm going to go take a nap. I hope you all enjoyed my pictures!
Most definitely! You are very photogenic!
ReplyDeleteWow what a great hike. I would have really liked those birds. And the lake. It's never too cold for a nice swim. IMHO.
ReplyDeletePyrrt pictures! I got some up of the snow at night on Saturday. I DON'T want to go play in it though!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Indy!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat nice pics!
I must confess that I got a little jealous about the snow. No snow here in Brazil. My auntie lived in the UK for 6 months and she tells me how nice the snow is! I think auntie was a Husky in her other life: she hates hot weather and loves snow, hehehe!
Indy, I love that picture of you looking at the lake! Do you like to swim?
ReplyDeletePimm
Snow looks like fun! Was it fun rubbing your face in it?
ReplyDeleteWow, indy! We got about a half-inch of the stuff, no nearly enough to have fun in. You look like you did your best in spite of that silly humans and their snowballs!
ReplyDeleteHey Indy,
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the good ol' days in Aurora, CO and all the snow. Snow is great fun isn't it? I miss snow plowin' with my nose. Guess sniffin' out voles will have to do. Did you find a vole in the snow in that last picture? One reason Mom and Dad moved out to the Delta was to get away from the cold white stuff.
What a cool place to take your humans. Very pretty. I like those bright red fliers. We don't have red cardinals here, but we have lots of hummers. They were buzzin' around early this mornin'.
And your video is cool. Keep up the good work of stayin' cool and aloof when your humans are tryin' to pick a fight with you by throwin' those fluffy cold snowballs at you. Maybe in the backyard you can break down and play, but in PUBLIC? No way!
Hope your humans were nice and warm durin' the big Nor'easter that blew in.
Thanks for the show!
Woof!
Freda
Enjoy the pics we did!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us along on your walk.
Later!
HEY INDY...wadda yah doing with our Canadian gueese over there? They leave here to go to a warmer climate in the winter...but it doesn't look any different there then here. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed yourself so much. Shasta loves the snow too. Muzzled or not, she still burrows through the snow like a drill and rolls making doggy angels.
Glad we got to see you in action.
Hi Indy, Enjoyed the pics and envy you the snow.
ReplyDeleteHey Indy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Greenie warnin'! I take a long time to eat them but I'll make sure my humans are watchin' when I eat them in the future.
Woof!
Freda

ReplyDeleteWell...kind of! It's actually a Grey Wolf but.....looks just like a Husky! If you get the Avatar it's under extras, pets, page 3.
