Not Much to Blog About

My mom has not been feeling good. She has had something called "migraines" a lot lately. Since last Thursday, Monday was the only day that she didn't have a migraine.

She has been taking medicine that makes her loopy, sleepy and silly. She has also been dizzy and forgetful. She says that the migraines make her feel like this:

Poor momma. She is taking some new medicine. She has to take it every night before bed. It's supposed to keep her from getting migraines. It seems to be working today! She hopes that after a few days she won't be so dizzy and silly when she takes it.

  1. Poor Mommy!!
Thise migranes can be really mean when they want to. Momma says those pictures are exactly what it feels like. I hope that the new medicine makes her feel better! Stick close to her Indy :) Fur is the best remedy to any human ailment!

  2. Yep, that's actually what the human woman looks like when she gets them. She's into self-medicating though, always swigging something, or popping a pill.

I've found that the best way to get them over those selfish-grains is to claw their heads. I think you need to be more diligent about clawing your human woman on the head when she's laying in the bed screaming in agony. They tend to get better almost immediately, and play chase through the house.

  3. Doodles hopes your momma feels better and the medicine works for her. My Da momma only gets migraines rarely, but she said when she was younger she gots them all the time too. She says age cured her of them but started that arfritis thing.

  4. I know how your human pet feels. I watch over my own pet when she gets these migraines, and it's horrible. She lays in the bed, doesn't move, and shuts off all the lights. I really hate when she has to go through that because I know it hurts her a lot.

  5. It's always something with those humans, isn't it? Mine used to get them but the cat would curl up on her head and purr for an hour...she said it was the only thing that would make her feel better. Got cats?
