Water Deprivation: Hour Four

Well, my tummy is not feeling so good. I ate some of Amber's rawhide on Saturday afternoon and now my tummy is all upset. I woke mom up at 5:00 am on Sunday morning. I walked to the side of her bed and she said "What's wrong?" and I threw up some yellow foamy stuff. I didn't feel like eating anything until late last night. This morning I did not eat my breakfast, and after mom left for work I threw up more yellow foamy stuff. So mom called the vet today and she is taking me to see the doctor tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, I am allowed to eat, but I am not allowed to have any water. It's TERRIBLE! Mom gave me an ice cube, which I had no choice but to eat, since I am so parched!

Cross your fingers and paws for me everyone. I will update you tomorrow after the vet appointment.

  1. I hope you are feeling better!!! Where at in MD do you live? I lived in MD for a while, and I had a nice vet lady there. I liked Maryland especially the nature trail by the apartment! and the duck pond, too!

  2. Oh you poor baby. Better tell your mom you are dehydrated. Thank goodness you are not living in Singapore.

Paws crossed and hope you get well soon.

  3. Aw Indy, I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I'm surprised the vet said you are allowed to eat, but not have water. That is weird since you throw up when you eat. Easy for him to say, eh? Well, I hope you feel reallllly better soon.

  4. Indy,

No water??? Is your doctor nuts?? It's posed to be no foods and lots of waters. How can you play in the swimming pools?? I hope you feel better. Pumpkins work magic, so tell the doctor you need one and make him tell your mom to buy you a big one.
