My Big Weekend

Daddy was out of town at a LARP wedding this weekend. Mom didn't go. I don't know what a LARP wedding is. Mom said she was annoyed that she even knows what LARP means now. Mom said Dad wore "garb" and chain mail. I promise I'll try to sneak a picture of him dressed like that for my blog! Anyway, mom and I spent the weekend at grandma and grandpa's house. Grandma and Grandpa are cleaning out Uncle Joey's old room now that he moved out. They found some old newsprint paper. Grandma took it out into the living room and let me rip it up. It was AWESOME!!!

Amber kept pulling my tail while I was trying to grab the paper - so annoying!
Then my mom took silly pictures of me and Amber with paper on our heads. Why do humans do this to us? Mom said Amber looks like The Flying Nun.
Then Amber and I rested for a while. Of course, mom had to take a picture of that too.
On Sunday mom, grandma and I went to the Frederick County Animal Control shelter to meet an Eskie mix named LaChoy. He was very sweet. He was a little shy with my mom, but after she fed him some treats and talked to him nicely, he wasn't so shy. He came out on a leash to meet me, and he was really happy to see me and very playful. I play bowed to him and he hopped around. He is housebroken and walks nicely on a leash, and knows sit and shake. Hopefully now that we found out more about him we can help him find a home.
I hope all of my blogfriends had a good weekend!

  1. Heh heh! The picture with the huge smile looks like Lab under that paper!

We can't see your video. I don't know why. The Human Assistant says it may have something to do with Flash? I don't know why he wants to flash. Silly humans!

  6. Sometimes the best toys are things inside our house, huh. :) You looked like you had a lot of fun and Amber DID look like a flying nun in one of those pics. :)

  7. Little Andy loves to tear up paper. He also loves to have his humans chase him around the living room, trying to take it from him. It might be the most fun thing ever.

  12. Your grandma is awesome! I do not think I would tolerate Amber's tail pulling as well as you do, but at least she has a good sense of humor.

God, how long has my LARPdar been busted and I didn't even know it? The husky photos are great and all but what the Internet REALLY clamors for is documentation of Indydaddy in chain mail...!
