My mom got a call yesterday about a 9 month old Siberian Husky pup who was hit by a car and brought in to Greenbriar Veterinary Referral and Emergency Hospital. His owner couldn't pay for his care, so he turned the dog over to the hospital so that they could try to find a rescue to take him.
One of Harnessed to Hope's foster homes will be taking this boy into foster care on Saturday. Today (August 14) he is having surgery to repair his fractured pelvis, remove some bone fragments, be neutered, and possibly do a femoral head ostectomy if needed. The total cost will be $2,000, which is a generous discount. Harnessed to Hope will be doing fundraising to help cover the costs of his care. If you would like to make a donation you can do so by sending a check made out to HTHNBR to:
Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue
P.O. Box 3079
Bethlehem, PA 18017
You can also donate via PayPal.

poor baby! We've stolen Momma's plastic for the queen too. I'm sure that she'll raise enough to cover his costs.

Sounds like he was able to have the surgery our little Biloxi could have had if he had gotten treatment right away! Paws crossed for speedy recovery!
