Today I want to pay tribute to my friend Dakota. Dakota was one of my first blog friends when I started my blog. I was lucky enough to have the chance to meet Dakota twice, once when we went to her house, and once at a rescue event. My mom has also become friends with Dakota's mom.Dakota's mom posted the sad news that they had to help Dakota cross the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Dakota had been diagnosed with liver failure last February, and was not doing well. Her vets and her loving family had done everything that could possibly be done for Dakota. She is in heaven now free of pain and running like a young pup.
I will remember Dakota as she was in happier days, peaceful, and enjoying her back yard. Godspeed my friend.
If you would leave a note on Dakota's blog, I'm sure her family would appreciate it.
