A Very Husky Christmas

I am SOOOO EXCITED! I am going to a Husky Christmas Party tomorrow! The Maryland members of Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue are having a Christmas party tomorrow! I'm so excited so excited so excited! I am going to wear my jingle bell collar. It's a very nice red collar with real brass jingle bells on it, and it makes a really beautiful jingling sound when I prance. Here's a picture of me wearing it and posing in front of a Chrismas tree - I even have snow on me!

And here is the travesty that my mother imposed on me when I was only a year old for my very first Christmas!

See how much my facial markings have changed? I think I made my feelings about those antlers clear...what have your parents done to humiliate you in the name of the holidays?

  1. Oh Indy, that's the good (top picture) and the bad and the ugly (bottom picture). That comes close to animal abuse. Don't let the humans do that to you again. And have a great party tomorrow.

  5. Very handsome collar, but I agree about the antlers. If you want to see what mom did to me, go to Calvin and Hobbes' photo contest and see my picture (vote while there)!

  6. Absolutely a stunning picture! My fur-sister Sierra, (she's a red husky), mom says when she was a pup she had a full mask, but as she got older, her mask disappeared. She's still pretty though, even at the ripe old age of 13 human years!!!

  7. The antlers looked CUTE, but you were NOT impressed as you said. Give us humans a break. We look at you like our kids, so that kinda makes you human. Like it or not, we LOVE you!!! And believe it or not, this is how we SHOW you!!! LOL
