Explaining Amber's Ears

I recieved this comment in response to my last post:
For those of us new to the site... er, can you explain the ears on Amber? She's a cutie... but I've surely never seen ears like that before!
Amber is a Siberian Husky and Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix. We're not sure how that happend, but I think there was a step stool invovled.
This is a Siberian Husky:

This is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi:

So do you see where Amber's ears came from?

  1. I thought it was hard to figure out how Donna's parents made her (a Husky and a Fox Terrier)... It's even more challenging to figure out a Husky and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi :O

  4. It almost looks as if the ears are the only thing that got passed to her. I would have never guesses cardigan welsh corgi, they almost looked mouse-ish, and I know that's not possible! We all have characteristics that make us different and cute! Cute pics by the way, and it's great that you showed Amber how to play tug!

  8. LOL On the corgi the ears sure look HUGE, but since Amber is bigger, at least she fits into the ears...or the ears fit her. The better to hear you my dear!
