Write Your Congressperson About Contaminated Food

I know that many people are very upset, angry and frustrated over the many pet food recalls in the last month, and about how the FDA knows that at least two distributors (Wilbur Ellis is one) imported rice protien from China which is probably contaminated, but won't release the name of the second distributor, or the names of any of the pet food brands that use rice protien from either distributor.

The FDA is also going to begin testing human food (chicken and pork) due to concerns that contaminated feed may have been fed to hogs and chickens.

WHAT WE CAN DO
Please go to Itchmo.com and see the various things you can do - they are organizing a letter campaign and marches in several cities.

WRITE YOUR CONGRESSPERSON
Click here to look up your congress person and send them a message through this House of Representatives site. You can also use this site to look up your congress person and their contact information. PLEASE write your congress person and tell them how upset you are over the FDA's handling of the contaminated pet food fiasco, and of the possibility of human food being contaminated! If we all write we can made a difference!

WRITE THE COMMISSIONER OF THE FDA!
