Hiking for Huskies!

Here I am hiking!

Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue is holding a big fundraiser along with MaPaw Siberian Husky Rescue and Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue on September 1st, 2007 called the Hike 'n Howl. All three groups are non-profit organizations that take northern breed dogs from shelters and owners who can't keep them anymore, foster them in volunteer homes, and find them new homes.

My humans and I are hiking at the Hike 'n Howl to raise money for Huskies and other northern breed dogs in need. Donations will go toward the cost of care for our foster dogs and help dogs like Xia, who needed surgery on her leg. It will also help with the costs of routine vet care for dogs we take in that need to be spayed, neutered, and vaccinated, like the puppies from North Carolina and their mom. If you can spare a little cash it would really help.
Thanks everybody! I hope to meet many of you at the Hike 'n Howl!

  1. I have donated and sponsored a few of the dogs for the hike. I love stealing my human womans plastic for just those sorts of things!

I sure wish I lived closer so I could come out and meet all those great doggies! Bummer!

Have a great time at the hike, and I sure hope all those great rescue groups get lots of money!

  2. Indy, we forgot our Paypal account. Can we donate the old-fashioned way and send a check?

  5. Will do.

Momma doesn't seem to mind when we are spending her money on the fluffies. But she does get upset we we buy magazine subscriptions.

  11. Sorry that wasn't clear. I meant you (Indy) and Meeshka and so many other rescued dogs. In hindsight I see how it appeared as if I was calling you Meeshka, not that that would be an insult.
