Happy Birthday To Me!

Hi blogfriends, sorry I have not posted in a while. My humans have been busy. Whatever. Sunday we went to the West Annapolis Octoberfest and had a booth for Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue. We were there all day. The Annapolis events are always so much fun because it's such a dog friendly city. There are so many dog lovers and so many well socialized dogs. And I get lots of attention. In the afternoon we discovered that we had been given a donation vest for doggies to wear at events. It says "Donations" on each side and has little clear plastic pockets. Lots and lots of nice people put donations in the pockets. I got around $140.00 in donations for the rescue! Pretty cool! You can see me here sleeping on the way home after all of my hard work.
I'm at school today, and since my birthday was on September 30th, my mom made doggie cupcakes for every dog in day care! Here is what they looked like when they came out of the oven last night. Mom used a recipe from Harnessed to Hope's Dog Treat Recipe Book. The recipe calls for eggs, but I'm allergic to eggs, so mom went online and looked up substitutes for eggs, and she found out you can use bananas! So these cupcakes are made of flour, water, a mashed up banana, unsweetened applesauch, honey and a little baking soda. After they cooled off, mom and dad sang Happy Birthday to me, and then they gave me a cupcake to eat! I have never had a cupcake before so I wasn't sure how to eat it at first, but I figured it out.
