What I Did Last Weekend

Last Saturday, Mom went and got Bella from the Montgomery County Humane Society in Rockville, Maryland. It's about 15 minutes from where we live. Mom was so happy to be able to get Bella, she had been in the shelter for over two months! Mom said Bella was very hyper, so she brought her home for a little bit and I got to meet her. I really liked her! She wanted to play with me, but mom said she had to go for a walk because she was too hyper to ride in the car. I gave mom a good guilt trip when she got home later without Bella!

On Sunday mom took me to the C&O Canal in Potomac, Maryland. We met a guy with a Samoyed, she saw me and ran over to say hi, dragging her human behind her. Then we met a nice man and his family. He was from Sweden and he used to be a musher. He said he used to have 32 Huskies at the same time! Mom and I think that sounds like the life!

  2. Bella, what a pretty lady!! Im glad you and your mamma were able to help her burn some of her husky energy and get her out of that scary place! :( Brother & Sister were both in "shelters" before, thankfully not for long before going to foster homes, but it doesnt sound good at all!

  5. Thanks for the well wishes Indy. I'm feeling better today and mom took off my lampshade for a while (until I try to eat my bandages again).

Bella is pretty. You mom is so cool for taking her out. Wow!

I enjoyed your school post. It's fun seeing all of you at school.

Bella makes a beautiful addition to your family. And there's nothing like a good walk to calm a girl down.
