A Mouse in the House!

We have a mouse! My mom saw it this morning. She was going into the kitchen to make coffee, and saw it run from the kitchen toward my crate! It started her so much that she screamed and scared me and woke my daddy up!
She said it was a small brown mouse, like this:

Mom doesn't want to kill the mouse, she just wants him to move out. But he doesn't want to go. So mom and dad are trying to come up with a plan to relocate him. Mom called several stores today but none of them sell humane mouse traps. Mom found this site online that tells how how to make a humane mouse trap - it even has pictures! So mom is going to make a few of these tonight and set them up.

  1. Good lukhk!

I've yet to figure out why humans get so freaked out about khute little things!!

We had a khute little visitor on the patio earlier this year

  2. Momma thinks we have a mouse too so she's going to try to make that trap. Let us know if yours works.

  3. Our humom gets freaked out when she saw those run through our old country house too. But she looks at the bright side - dad finally figured out the little furries were getting in through a hole in the wall behind the old dishwasher, and in the end, mom got a new dishwasher & the hole got fixed! Good luck

  5. I've never caught any inside the house, but I had my own catch and release program going the first year we were in this house. I caught 5 VERY gently in my mouth and put them back down when Mom told me to without hurting them. I think I caught one little chubby guy twice. Want me to come over?
