My Weekend

Friday I went to day care, but grandma and grandpa picked me up in the afternoon and took me to their house! Mom had packed my dinner and it was in the fridge at school, so we took it to grandma and grandpa's house and I ate my dinner there. On they way to their house, we stopped at some friends of theirs to pick something up. They were babysitting a little boy named Martin that I met once before. Martin is really little, but he is not afraid of me at all. He came right up and stood next to me and put his arm around my neck.

Mom and dad went to a concert Friday night, and wouldn't be home until late. They went to see Matt Nathanson and O.A.R. Mom and dad are big fans of both.
Before Matt Nathanson came on, they were showing text messages and photos on the big screens. Dad sent a picture of me, and right when it showed up on the screens, a whole bunch of people started cheering. Dad said "Listen, they're cheering for Indy!" Mom said "Well, Matt Nathanson just came out on the stage." Dad said "No, it's for Indy!"
Mom was happy because they ended the show by singing "With a Little Help from My Friends" with Matt Nathanson - hearing a Beatles song always makes mom happy.
