Dog Rescued From Shelter Saves New Owner's Life

Honey had been taken to the Marin Humane Society shelter by her previous owner who could no longer afford to care for her. Two weeks ago, Michael Bosh adopted her and took her home. Yesterday, his car plunged 30 feet down a ravine. Michael somehow freed Honey from her kennel and she ran half a mile through the woods to a neighbor's house, and brought the neighbor to the scene of the accident. The neighbor called for help. Watch the video here. See that everyone? Adopting homeless animals is good for the pet population, but it could also save your life!

Adopt a homeless pet - it's good for your health!
