Young Female Husky in Balt. City Shelter

There is a very sweet young (around 1 year old) female at the Baltimore City Animal Control shelter. She is wolf gray, small and on the skinny side, and probably not spayed. She is timid but after about 30 seconds she warmed up to our volunteer and gave her kisses. She took treats nicely and was not possessive of them, and was very excited about having someone to play with. Her stray time is up today and she will probably have a few more days after today.

Here are some pictures, click on the thumbnails to see larger images:

If anyone is interested in fostering her please contact my mommy at kerryr@siberescue.com. If anyone wants her the shelter's nubmer is (410) 396-4694.

  3. Indy, did you hear about Triumph, the dog from Turkey with no back legs who now has 2 artificial ones and lives here in Tennessee?
He's doing great (and he looks like he's a husky!)!

  4. Hi Beau,

Yes, I have heard about Triumph! I have a link to her site on my blog. One of the ladies in Tails of the Tundra knows Triumph's owner and sent us some pictureso f her after her surgery. What a sweet dog, I'm so glad that so many people came together to help her after the horrible thing she went through!

  7. Isn't she? The volunteers in our rescue are juggling and trying to find a way to fit her in...we have a lot of foster dogs right now. But this girl's sweet face have touched everyone and they are really trying to find a way to help her.
