Don't eat spider plant leaves.
The good news is - they are not toxic.
The bad news is - they can cause really, really, REALLY bad diarrhea. I didn't just have diarrhea - it was projectile. I spraypainted a corner of the back of the couch, which is next to my crate. It took mom a looooong time to get all of the dried liquid poo off of the bars of that side of my crate. And scrub the plastic tray in the bathtub. And scrub the bathtub. And clean the carpet. And the toys that were in the crate with me. And clean me with bath wipes.
And gas. Spider plant leaves can cause some heinous gas. I mean long, drawn out squealers that cause people in the vicinity to turn around and stare.
So don't do it.

Oh. My. Gosh. Indy. HEHEHE I am so sorry you had to go through, it does make for a funny story though!
ReplyDeleteOh Indy, I can hear you (and your mom) howling from here. I hope you really will avoid those things in the future (although... I do know dogs.) :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning.
