Yellow Snow Adventures is the Name of a Real Business

Someone in the rescue asked if there were places in Maryland to do dog sledding, and somebody mentioned Yellow Snow Adventures in Garrett County, Maryland. It's a funny name, but it's a real business - they have a Web site, phone number, schedule of events, and a funny logo!

See what the dog in the logo is doing?

They also have pictures and profiles of their dogs. They even explain the differences between Alaskan Huskies, Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes, which is very good. Many people don't realize that the Alaskan Husky is not actually a breed.

So if you live near Garrett County, Maryland and you want to try dog sledding, check out Yellow Snow Adventures. Please ask them where they got the idea for the name, and try to sound really serious when you ask!

  1. I like this idea. I live by the dunes of Lake Michigan...do you think I could start a Dune Buggy business with a cat litter theme?

    Something to think about...

  2. You probably could! You could call the garage where the dune buggies are kept "The Kitty Box" and have kitty litter on the floor.

Yellow Snow Adventures - it makes me giggle!
