Visit With Some Friends

Yesterday my people and I went to visit some friends who volunteer with Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue. They are fostering the puppies from North Carolina. I got to play with their dogs Tashi and Polar too. Polar and I had a really great wrestling match. Here we are sitting for treats.
The puppies are so cute and little! They are definetely at least six months old, and will fill out, but they won't get too much bigger. The puppies were afraid of me at first, but then they realized I'm a nice boy and they followed us big dogs around while we chased each other and wrestled.
The puppies are very shy, because they haven't had much socialization. They are more comfortable with us dogs than with people, but they did warm up to my people and come up to them to get treats. Here they are with Tashi waiting for treats. Later they even fell asleep right next to them and didn't even get scared when my people were petting them.

Then while the peole were eating dessert, they put all six of us in the living room behind a tall baby gate! We didn't like that, so we decided to let the people know that we wanted some dessert too!

Finally I decided I had had enough, and I pushed the baby gate down! My parents were all worried about something called "property damage" but Tashi and Polar's mom said the gate was just pressure mounted, so it was ok, whatever that means. After that the puppies were tired, so we went home. It was a lot of fun! Thanks for having me over Tashi and Polar!

  2. Woooo! That was some wonderful singing! You're lucky to have so many husky friends to sing with. I had to get up from my nap just to get closer to the speakers and listen better! That and figure out where all of you guys were and why I couldn't smell you...

  6. Whoa! That was a lot of husky talk. I bet you definitely got the humans' attention. Did you get a little lick of something good? Glad you had a great time with other friends and were able to be so nice to the little puppies.

  8. Great song! I'll bet you had great fun with the puppies!
I'm good at breaking out kiddie gate out of the doorway, too. Dave jumps it, but I push it over.
