For some reason, my humans do not want me to lick my toe. I don't know why, since it bothers me and that's the only way I can CLEAN it. Mom came home from work and saw that I had been licking my toe and pulled some hair off, and she got all upset and took me to PetSmart and bought THIS.
Mom just caught me being sneaky and licking my toe. I didn't want her to see me, so I laid down with my back to her, and stuck my hind foot up under my front leg so she couldn't see my licking the toe. Well, she caught me and came over and sprayed my foot again. She mumbled something about an e-collar...not sure what that's about, my my blogfriends do not seem to like them.
Oh those horrid lampshades! My mom said your sneaky story reminded her of when she was little and had a cold and she would always try to cough into the pillow so her mom would not hear her and come armed with the awful yucky cough medicine.

Yuck! My mom has Bitter Apple from petsmart. Now, I like apples, but not that stuff!
ReplyDeleteOh Indy, I am sorry to hear about your toe woes. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
ReplyDeleteOh your paw does look red and sore Indy. I hope that spray works

Oh woo - No more licking for you. Those Moms don't miss a thing. Nosy people.

Hi Indy! Sorry to hear about your toe! Hmmm.... my great brother Booter used to get hot spots on his feet, and Mom tried spraying them or putting socks on him and spraying THOSE. He told me that if you lick it all REAL fast to get the stuff off, then get a big drink of water, you can work around that. Just a thought. I sure hope you don't get the lampshade!

That spray stuff looks yucky!! I sure hope your toe heals quick!

IP, the collars are annoying. The Human Assistant says a Sibe who came to the shelter kinda chewed up didn't mind his, but....
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about the collars is that you can run into people and other animals with them. That really bugs them!
Let your mom take care of your toe. You can't grow any new ones!
Eewwww... gross!
ReplyDeleteIndy how is your boo boo? Did you get to go to school? Just checking on you.

Andy, my baby husky, was immune to the bitter stuff. We ended up going to the vet to get some anti-inflammatory/allergy medication. He's allergic to ragweed and, when it's high, he gets itchy all over. I hope you're feeling better soon. (And stop licking that foot, you silly dog.)
ReplyDeleteOh no, Indy, you have ta be better at hiding yur licking. You don't want to wear a lampshade. Take it from me, they are nasty & uncomfortable.
