My Adventures

Hi everyone. Sorry I have not been around much. My human mom's grandma went to heaven last week and my mom was sad and taking some time to herself. But she is feeling better now. Here are some things we have been up to.
Mom and I went hiking at Black Hill Park. It's very pretty, has a lake I splashed and waded in, and DUCKS! Here I am trying to get some ducks to play with me.
click to enlargeThey didn't want to play with me for some reason.
Here is the lake.
It's a REALLY big lake, and it's pretty clean.
Here I am in the woods.

My mom is still feeling kind of sad sometimes, so I make sure to do things to cheer her up. Yesterday morning she was kind of sad so I decided to do something silly with my bowl and chew treat (it's a dried cow trachea - yum!)

  4. Poor Indy's mama. I hope she cheers up soon.

That photo of you is so funny! And I do think it's rude that the ducks wouldn't play with you.

  5. Good lord Indy, stop giving the Mutatoe ideas about bowl, kongs, treats and such on your head. You know he does everything that we do trying to look cool. You can pull off looking cool with a cow throat on your head, but Mutatoe just looks foolish.

Sorry about the grandma human woman. Hey, I heard that you are getting dragged to the hot event this weekend and have to wear the donation vest. I'll be home lounging on the cold air vent. Good luck with that.

  10. That's hard, Indy. We hope your mom feels all our good wishes!

Nice hat! I'd have trouble leaving the cow part alone, though. If it smells like food, I gotta keep after it!

  11. I'm so sorry about your humans grandma. It is very difficult we humans lose their family, and we will keep your mom in our thoughts.

What a wonderful place to go and be in a peaceful state of mind. And, you look very comfy in your crate with your chew treat. Reminds me of your kong pic!

  12. Oh, no! Please tell your mom that we are thinking about her--and it's okay to be as sad as she needs to be right now. You're doing a great job of making her feel better, based on these pictures. Keep up the good work!
