Christmas Eve Photos

One of our Christmas Eve Traditions is that Amber and I used to always help by shredding the wrapping paper. I also help people actually unwrap their presents - I'm very good and carefully pulling the paper off of the presents and shredding the paper.


We missed Amber this year, but otherwise it was a good Christmas. I hope everyone else is having a great Christmas!

Here is a video of Amber that mom found on her phone. She took it a few weeks ago. Mom said she likes to think of Amber like this in heaven.

Memorial to Amber

My mom made this memorial to Amber today, it helped her to feel better to think of all of the good memories she has of Amber. I will miss her too, she was such a good wrestler and so much fun to play with.

Sweet Dreams Amber

Today our family had to help Amber cross the rainbow bridge. She had been declining since Thanksgiving, and it was time to help her cross so that she could be at peace and free of pain.
She crossed over peacefully, with my grandma and grandpa and my mom and dad with her, telling her how much they loved her, and that she was going to rest and be free of pain and be a healthy young puppy again. Mom said she feels Amber's spirit telling her that she is okay. We are sad because we miss her, and words can never express how loved she was, but we know she is free of pain and couldn't have had a more loving home.

SNOW!

I'M SO EXCITED IT'S SNOWING AGAIN WE HAVE A WINTER STORM WARNING AND TODAY FOR A WHILE WE HAD A BLIZZARD! I WENT OUTSIDE WITH MOM AND DAD WHILE THEY CLEANED OUT THEIR CARS AND THEN WE WENT FOR A WALK! I'M SO EXCITED!

Then I went outside while my people cleaned their cars and shoveled around them. At first they tried tethering me to a tree, but I complained, so then they tethered me to them. After that we took a walk to the little town square. Here are some photos.

Then later, mom took me out for ANOTHER walk! We walked for about 45 minutes. There were some people making snow bricks and building a fort! I'm napping now so I can have fun outside again tomorrow.

Here is a video my mom took last Sunday of me playing in the snow at my grandparents' yard.

It was so much fun! I wish there were snow all the time.

Today my people took me to the dog park. Whenever I'm in the car with mom, we sing along with the music. Mom keeps telling dad that I'm such a good singer and am pretty good at following the melody, so today on the way to the dog park they tried to get video of me singing in the car.

I think you can see how I felt about that. Oh, and mom wants me to say that's dad singing. She has a much nicer singing voice.
